Glen Slaven's News of the Day I have been hesitant for a weeks now about starting this section. There are a lot of great blogs out there since the beta release of TypePad and I created this site in order [Read More]

I looks, well effing awesome. This is problem the best site redesign that I have seen YET. Well done! Have you documented it? Do you keep a changelog? Would you care to write about it so that I can cross-post at the Typepadistas Directory? Inquirying minds want to know.

If you like I can doco it, but I haven't kept a changelog - that's like documenting & as all good programmers know, you document at the *end* of a project :)

Thanks liza, flattery get's you everywhere!

WOW! I like the new design a ton! Are you still using TypeLists? I need to redesign to something with more space for posts but my HTML and CSS is very lacking... Looks good!

Thanks Joel,
The typelists are still used, but they're sitting on the ExternalLinks page rather than on the main page. I've tried to strip out a lot of the mess from the previous design. The quick links is done using a seperate blog that is then included using SSI. I'll do a writeup on how to do that on UTR when I get around to it.

Very nice! These swishy pro-users! ;-)
Shows up fine in IE6.

Nice job, Glenn. Being "color challenged," I especially like your color choices. The dark text in your link buttons at the top are difficult, but not impossible for me to read. I'm using Mozilla 1.4. When I first get to your page, the RSS-Syndicate button is in the upper-right corner of the page, on top of the quote. On this comment page, however, that button is gone.
